We are a mission-oriented accessibility technology company looking for an experienced Project Manager (Engineering) to support our growing team. This position will provide an opportunity to take on impactful work in a fast-paced, startup environment. We are looking for entrepreneurial and self-motivated candidates who are ready to make an impact by working on new service launches and existing service improvement projects with new emerging technologies.

This position will be based in our Irvine, California office where we have a hybrid work arrangement (Mon/Tue/Thu in-office). Fully remote applicants will not be considered.

Responsibilities:

  • Plan and manage software development projects and new service launches
  • Analyze data, usage trends and user feedback to generate product improvement ideas
  • Lead sprints, retrospective meetings and daily stand-ups
  • Write tickets and coordinate tasks between engineers, designers and QA using DevOps
  • Ensure deliverables are up to quality standards at the end of each sprint
  • Directly participate in QA processes and manage external QA support staff
  • Facilitate internal communication and effective collaboration
  • Be the point of contact for communications between various stakeholders
  • Resolve conflicts and remove any obstacles to ensure seamless development processes

Requirements:

  • Strong work ethic and extremely high degree of personal responsibility
  • 4+ years of experience working as an engineering project manager
  • Proficiency with IT project and workflow management tools
  • Entrepreneurial drive and ability to quickly solve problems and be resourceful
  • Must have valid US work authorization
